DD11 ModDeep-drawing steel
PROTAC DD11 Mod is a modification of the mild, unalloyed steel DD11 for cold forming. The steel plate is hot-rolled and heat-treated to produce a fine-grained microstructure, prescribed mechanical properties for deep drawing applications and good ageing resistance. Special properties in a quenched and annealed condition make this steel grade ideal for demanding applications, such as the production of cartridge cases.
